spacer Over the years I have compiled a small collection to start and I am currently painting weekly to build a collection that I hope to take you to some of my favorite spots locally around New Port Richey and the surrounding areas in Florida.

We have also traveled and visited spots that have become some of our favorite places to visit and want to share those experiences with you as well.

Come back often and visit those places as I place them here in my "Originals" gallery, or we hope that any one or more of these experiences can become your favorite place and you will be able to obtain for your collection.

There are also pieces here such as portrait, and architecture.

More paintings will be added as I am working on the site.

Giclees also available.

To purchase any of the originals, please call for information: 727-372-0790.

Enjoy!

These are two main areas of Curacao Island. Although never visiting the Island, I was inspired by its beauty and architecture. Instead of two paintings, I decided to experiment with something different and combining two paintings as one as they meet where water becomes sky and sky becomes the water..

The photo was shot in studio during a small break while setting up background props.

The model was thinking and I took the photo.

I don't work much in acrylic any more but still use the medium to stay in practice.

Glycerin helped move the acrylic paint around to give a smoother texture and give a better blend in the dramatic lighting depicting the mood of the subject.

This is a spot at Howard Park in Tarpon Springs, that we often visit. This gazebo is in a little hidden cove in the picnic area which is quiet and surrounded by many trees, including palm trees, along with the many birds such as heron, egrids, pelicans and more.

This piece is named for a couple of reasons. It is a small lake which reflects it's surroundings and is also a peaceful spot to meditate and reflect on ones self.

The St. Augustine Lighthouse was the first lighthouse in Florida but not this one. The original crumbled into the Atlantic and the new structure was constructed.

This is the first lighthouse we ever visited so became the "First Light" for us also.

The first St. Augustine Lighthouse I painted was painted on sight to start while the sun was setting and was a little dark to see the detail which supports the observation deck. We re-vsitied the lighthouse and were able to take better photo's for a more detailed painting.

You can also see the Freznel lense which sits in the lantern area and some of the detail inside.

Although the stripes and the deck are black, I chose to use some blues and purples to detail those areas to accent the buttresses and spires and to give a cooler look overall to the lighthouse.

The Bellview Biltmore Hotel is the oldest standing wood structure in the U.S. Located in Clearwater, Florida

When developers were looking at demolishing the hotel and constructing condo's on the property, there was a cry for help from the surrounding residents and people from all over to "Save the Biltmore".

I visited the site and was taken back in time by this breathtaking view along the side of the original entrance.

This was taken a little after sunrise. I removed the modern day eye sores such as central air units and other devices and tried to picture what it may have looked like in simpler times.
